Need help with multiple light sources and shadow geometry

Hi all, I’m pretty new to drawing, and am using a mix of tutorials and a Udemy course to learn. I’ve been learning things as they interest me, so please excuse me if I’m missing something fundamental here, but I have a question on ground points and rays when it comes to multiple light sources. In 2-point perspective, it sounds like you pick a point in space to set a light source, and then draw down vertically to set a ground point. The intersection of the rays through the top points, and the ground plane established through the bottom points, determines the length/width/angle of the shadows.

However, I’m trying to see if there are any caveats or considerations when using two light sources. Ultimately I’d like to practice using colored shadows, but I want to make sure I’m not messing up anything with the shadow geometry first. Thanks!
