I feel like the easy one to pick would be Death Island because of the star-studded cast of legacy protagonists, but I honestly think Vendetta has the most Resident Evil-adjacent storyline in terms of horror-action balance and ambience. I think Infinite Darkness is a close second as it gives me that RE5 vibe. I'm curious though, what are you guys' thoughts?

Will we see Sherry Birkin return as a protagonist/co-protagonist in future Resident Evil game?

So, I've just recently finished another playthrough of Requiem, because I wanted to really focus on little bits and pieces of the story, dialogue and other things I might have missed, even while getting platinum. It didn't dawn on me, but Leon saying to Sherry, "I've got a dose with your name on it. You'll be back in action in no time," made me think, what if "back in action" isn't just a way of saying back to normal as it can often be. What if it truly is a way for Capcom to say, "Hey, we're gonna put Sherry back in the limelight for something big." What if Sherry replacing Ingrid Hunnigan is something Capcom eventually reveals was a decision made by Leon because he knew how sick he was getting, and keeping Sherry on active duty with the same symptoms he had, if not worse, was the only way of keeping her alive. Remember, we've seen Sherry medicating throughout the story. Leon, on the other hand, had to literally wait until Grace injected him with Elpis while he was at death's door. Maybe where we get a Leon & Ada reunion, we can also get a Claire & Sherry reunion counterpart. I just can't see SB replacing Ingrid without some reason that'll lead to a payoff of sorts.

Seeing Shepard's clone was a shock to us all the first time around, but can you imagine if Cerberus really tapped into that evil side of things and, likely in the form of a highly intellectual VI or through some DNA sample that was somehow acquired before Virmire, cloned the one whose death causes Shepard to harbor the deepest guilt. Imagine having to face off against something you know isn't Kaidan or Ashley, but still makes you feel the weight and guilt of a decision where there was no option C. The guilt of having to revisit the pain of Virmire, but this time, eliminating the one who didn't survive with absolute intent as opposed to the restrictions of choice. The dialogue that could have happened in that circumstance could be unfathomably deep and bitter, but to overcome it would allow Shepard one more chance to apologize to the one who didn't survive by killing the thing that utterly destroys their image/legacy.
