Hello all!
Blue = my striking area
Red = pain pattern
Just began running again. I'm no stranger to aches and soreness while rebuilding my run game, but I wanted to get some advice on recurring pain I'm feeling.
I consistently develop some pain near my arch area, but it doesn't feel specific to my arches if that makes sense. With training, the pain occurs later on in my runs, but is still recurring. It may be hard to judge without a video of my form, but I'm quite confident I'm prioritizing light strikes, posture, and legwork.
Looking for guidance if this is something to train through as a "brand new" runner to develop strength in this area, or if I need to make a change.
I'm about two weeks in to training, running at least 4 times within the 7 day week (building in recovery).
Pain used to kick in very early, now occurs around the mile mark. Again, not sure if this is progress.
Shoes: Pegasus 41
Feet: Neutral Arch (not flat, not high arch)
Pace: 10min/mile
I more than appreciate any feedback as I kickoff this journey!
