Hi everyone,
I’m a solo indie developer who recently launched an app, QR-Me. I built this because I was tired of rummaging through dozens of storage bins in my garage just to find a specific tool or a camera lens.
The Concept:
You take one photo of the items you’re putting in a box. The app automatically identifies and tags everything inside so you don't have to type out lists.(or you can also manually tag your items) When you need something later, you just scan the QR code attached to the bin using the app, and it tells you exactly which bin it’s in.
Why I’m here:
I’ve just moved the app out of the initial test phase and fixed some early database permission bugs. Now, I really need some "real world" eyes on it.
I would love feedback on:
• Onboarding: Is it easy to get started, or is it confusing?
• Identification Accuracy: How well does the app "see" what’s in your box?
• General UX: Does the "Add Bin" flow feel fast enough for a busy person?
Privacy & Tech:
I’ve kept the app lightweight and focused on utility. No social trackers, no selling data. I’m handling the identification logic through a custom implementation designed to keep things fast.
Pricing:
The app is free to download and test. There is a Pro tier for heavy users ($12.99/mo), but I am mostly looking for feedback on the core experience right now.

Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to help a new dev out. I’ll be hanging out in the comments to answer any questions!
