Lenovo ThinkBook 16 G9 AHP, Ryzen 7 250 – I installed Windows 10 (using a license from my previous PC, and didn't want to go for Win11 because of situation). Basically, what happened is that I can’t connect to Wi-Fi + other drivers where missing, like Bluetooth driver.
So I started researching the issue. First, I downloaded Lenovo Vantage, and it showed that all drivers were up to date. Then I went to the Lenovo support website, where I found a list of drivers available for manually download. I installed the Bluetooth driver and it worked, but the Wi-Fi still doesn’t work after installation (even though it’s enabled in BIOS).
After some additional research, I found out that the Wi-Fi 7 in this laptop is not supported on Windows 10.
So my question is: has anyone had this problem, and what is the best option?
I’m wondering if I should go directly to Windows 11—will I need to manually install all drivers, or is it better to do a clean install of Windows 11 (I read that you can use win10 licence for win11 activation)?
Or, considering everything, would it be better to switch to some version of Linux (used only Linux Mint previously)? But then again, what about drivers—will they install automatically or will I need to install them manually?
