I just recently started Bari saxophone, with no prior experience with alto or tenor, in the past few months. I can hold my own in the low level stuff I play for my concerts and I want to audition for districts next year and hopefully regionals. (senior year of high school)
What are the best things to practice daily in order to improve my playing the most?
Particularly I struggle with fast playing and sight reading.
For context my pre-aud is concertino da camera: i. allegro con moto
For some reason all types of saxes have to audition on the same piece regardless.
