Questions: does [[fate transfer]] or [[bioshift]] work on the stack, after I sac the snail with counters on it, using [[wick, the whorled mind]], meaning I do maximum damage and then move the counters onto another snail to do it again?

Context: So, I have [[wick, the whorled mind]] as my commander. I currently am running a strategy on buffing the snail with equipment, sacking and reattaching again.

Is there a way I could run cards that move counters as I sac the snail? [[The ozolith]] was the first choice but out of the price range (have considered proxies but our pod is pretty level and not trying to buy my way into the win). Not sure what else is available as an option?
