Hey guys, can I spitball some ideas with you?
For my friend's 30th we're doing a D&D night, and she wants me to make a oneshot campaign for us all to play. It's going to be silly, comedic, kind of stupid and chaotic (inspiration being D20's Escape from the Bloodkeep), except theme being bureaucracy gone mad: all of my guys will be staffers for the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse trying to bring about the apocalypse but things are going to go wrong. Can anyone think of where I can go with this narratively to make it fun? Or at least pleasantly chaotic?
So far, every character is going to have a positive along with a negative, for example: they're an exceptional bard but has severe stage fright, a knight in shining armor but struggles with a sword.
And also considering having every chest they find to be a mimic except one which has a voucher for 1000gp for the local potion shop or something.
