Rise of the Runelords: Anniversary Edition [PF1e][SPG][FoudryVTT][Weekly][$21]
Are you a PF1e / 3.5 D&D vet that wants to play 'the build that got away?' Are you new to Pathfinder first edition and want to learn in a knowledgeable and fun environment? Are you just feeling nostalgic for the original Adventure Path that started off the whole world of Golarion and want to re-live the glory days in a premium virtual table top experience?
My name is CTP, and I'll be your Johnny on the spot.
Rise of the Runelords is a pulpy, classic adventure where your band of scrappy adventurers becomes embroiled in a conspiracy that threatens the land of Varisia. An ancient evil stirs from its slumber; will you answer the call to adventure, fortune, and glory? There's dungeons. There's dragons. Ancient ruins, forgotten cities, titanic monuments and other set piece locations serve as the backdrop for high-octane combat, exploration, and mystery. There's no 'wrong character' for this adventure; any class will have plentiful opportunities to really shine. You'll start fresh at level 1, and if'n you're in for the long haul the game ought to take you to the heights of level 17 or 18.
I'll be running all of this on a tricked out virtual table top: Foundry has all sorts of neat tools to help smooth out play, and I'll be bringing along ambient music, animations, and devastating my own vocal chords as I attempt to simulate the sound of singing goblins.
We've got two players signed up already: they're looking to play a paladin and a warpriest, so we have a pretty formidable frontline with decent healing abilities covered. This is a great opportunity to play an arcane or occult spellcaster, a more nimble and skilled character, or really whatever else your heart of hearts desires.
We're looking to run on Thursday evenings PST (check the link, it should adjust for your time zone); it's 2:00 am Fridays GMT if my math is correct. Please don't hurl bricks at me if I'm wrong, all of my math knowledge went into Pathfinder instead of clocks.
I encourage you to join the Goofs and/or Spoofs, and feel free to hit me up with any questions.
