3 weeks ago my Dad passed away suddenly. He always wanted me to have his Moonwatch. It’s my first ‘luxury’ watch and something I won’t ever sell given the sentimental value it holds to me. On inspection it looks in good condition without any damage but I do want to clean it up.

My question is this…I don’t want to lose the little scratches and scuffs on the band where he has worn it as thats a part of him. But it is kinda filthy too, especially on the back with all the gunky crap. I don’t believe he has had this serviced at Omega so this is something I would look to do for longevity and to honor the piece. If I take it into an Omega store (based in LA) is there a rough estimate on cost for service of this nature? Likewise, is it simply a case of stating id like it cleaned but not polished and they will understand what I mean? Or do I need to be more explicit with my directions here given the sentimental nature of it.

Thank you all!
