7 Years
Two days ago (May 6), I celebrated 7 years completely sober. I would like to post progress pictures but it isn't a good idea with my job. However, I can tell some stats;
I last drank at 47 years old, now 54
Weight from 185 to 160 (I'm 5' 6" tall)
blood pressure from 160/80 to consistently under 120/70
Cholesterol from over 300 to 176
Pants waist size in American went from 38 to 30
Shirt size from medium to large because of the upper body muscle I've added.
I regained the respect of my family. For some, it took a while.
In my career, I work with many people every day. I have gained massive patience and often receive comments on how I'm always positive and helpful.
I wake up every day just feeling good and ready to get into whatever is coming my way.
