Hotter than normal temps caused the birds to shut down by 7:30 but we still had a great hunt in Sonora.
Arrived at noon on Wednesday and had two down within 90 minutes. Then on Thursday morning, called one into a set up killing it and then two more about 20 minutes later. Only one left and we were done by 7AM. The young man killed his first Merriam’s and third turkey ever, his dad killed his first turkey ever. The gobbler I killed had the perfect plumage of a Merriam’s with its white tips perfectly white and secondaries as well.
