My DIY Camera is coming to completion. It is 50cm x 50cm format destined mostly for paper and possibly wetplate. It is entirely designed by myself and constructed with the help of two friends. One who helped me with the 12sqm of fabric for the bellows and a family friend who is an adventurous carpenter. The camera is entirely self contained besides the ITEM rail. The folded together box contains the bellows, Lens (with lensboard fastened 180degrees inverted), viewscreen, two filmholders and protection board. The threaded rod for transportation will be replaced with a set of short wingnut-bolts in use. The lens is a 600mm APO-Ronar Rodenstock with a maximum aperture of f9. The bellows extends to 1300mm safely. It is not light, but I think I can carry the box with the main rail and two tripods on a packframe well enough:) First results soon :)
