Howdy!

I recently purchased a pair of captains from Thursday, and as this is the first time I've ordered from them, I am not entirely sure that I've sized correctly.

I ended up puchasing a 6.5, and have attached a picture of where the widest part of my foot and about where the end of my toes sit. I am a bit worried about them sliding, as that was an issue i had with my last pair of boots as they wore in.

Should I size down?​

I ended up puchasing a 6.5, and have attached a picture of where the ball of my foot and about where the end of my toes sit (where thumb starts in photo). I am a bit worried about them sliding, as that was an issue i had with my last pair of boots as they wore in.

Should I size down?​

Update: Gave up on returning them and wore them around a bit, they're great actually. Culprit for the sizing issue seems to be that my shoe size is slightly different across feet (slightly loose on one, slightly small on the other). Thanks all for the advice! Tip for anyone reading this in the future: don't overthink it, and yes they do mean it about that half size smaller these are pretty wide cut.
