Please help, lately we have been getting a smell that gets in the drawers of our kitchen island and makes them smell like "fart"s. Some days it also smells in the service room under the island that has our water softner system and hot water tank. We had a plumber check for a dry trap but it was fine. We use the sink in the island all the time. The water does not smell and neither does the drain itself. The smell comes and goes for no apparent reason. We cannot figure out what is causing it. Any suggestions or direction would be amazing because we are going crazy!
