My current setup:
Living room -> UDR7
Upstairs, no cable -> UDB-SWITCH "uplinked" via meshing to UDR7, 8 computers hooked in it.
Question: Downstairs, 4 computers. It's not in any plan to get a physical wire so my question is, would a U7 Pro connected into a switch would work by meshing. I.e.: I would adopt the U7 Pro so it would connect to the UDR7. I know it would work with another UDB-SWITCH but would like to save a bit on the cost if it would work with an U7.
Can I put the U7 Pro in a 5 ports switch and use my wired computers on the network using the U7 Pro as an access point plugged in a switch? If I do VLAN's in my switch, will it work thru the U7 Pro since he will be able to pass the tagged packets thru the mesh network from U7 Pro -> UDR7?
