Pilgrims Curiosity Rebuild 2026 - Survival
I am in the process of repairing/rebuilding a crashed Pilgrims Curiosity in 2026. It is completely different than any of the blueprints found in the Steam Workshop. I found that this uses at least 5 different DLCs. It will probably take me a million years to complete this because of the need for the ion engine parts which will require about a gazillion platinum ores.
As seen in the picture, this was buried in the ice on Titan. Short of grinding and replacing every block below ground level, I have done my best so far to remove the ice from the ship.
I recently did this with another unknown distress signal that turned out to be a large rover. The issue I had with that was that I could not get it to move. After grinding it down to nothing, I found that there was still ice hidden in some places.
For clarity, I am doing this in Survival mode.
First question is. How can I ensure that all ice has been removed without grinding and replacing all blocks below ground level? I have already gone around this ship with my miner with drills in terrain clearing mode, but that may not be enough.
Second question is. Has anyone successfully done this very thing with getting a crashed ship or rover to work after rebuilding it? What did you do to make that happen?
Third question is. Does anyone have a current blueprint for this that they can share? Not the original one from around 2018 or the "Project Legacy" one from 2024 as neither of those are like the one below as they don't have the DLC parts.
I know it would probably be a lot easier just to build this from scratch, but who wants to do things the easy way? :)
