Was messing around on knife print and made this. I haven’t used this program before really. I’m not entirely sure what the purpose of this is or what type it is, total length is 7inches with around a 4 inch handle. The giant holes are going to be cut out for weight reduction. My 1x30 shit the bed, so I’m waiting to get a 2x72 here soon. Anyways. How does this look, what would it be good for?

So here is an update on my 16x20 shop/shed. I wanted todo a loft for storage up top. However I don’t want to climate control both the loft and the main shop. I haven’t put in an attic door for it yet, but on top of the walls for the first floor, I added two double 2x10 beams on top of each top plate. I then added 2x10 joist to span the 16 ft gap. On top of that I added gambrel trusses with 2x6. Does this look right? I plan to have gable vents and maybe a ridge vent for the ventilation up top. I will be building lean to roof off of each side for the porch I am building. How does this look/ what should I change?
So I’m designing a wood frame workshop/storage shed for my home. The shop will be 16x20 with a gambrel style roof for loft storage. It will be insulated and climate controlled. I’m trying to make sure I framed this roll up door right. This is where a 6x7 roll up door will go. I used a double 2x1/8 beam across the top of the door for a header. Did I do this right or is it over kill? Also I did have my floor checked out by a framer. And he says it’s perfectly sound
