Hi! I've been looking at laptops to replace my older model. I believe I have narrowed it down to 2, but I'd like to know opinions on them. I'm in Canada and prices are in Canadian dollars.

My laptop is used for basic tasks such as web browsing, YouTube, maybe Netflix and gaming through a streaming service (I do not wish to install games directly on the laptop). I'd like to have a laptop that won't go obsolete too quickly either.

  1. Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5, AMD Ryzen AI 7 350, 16GB RAM, 512 SSD for $999 CAD
  2. ASUS Vivobook 15, Intel Core i5-13420H, 16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD for $799 CAD.

I appreciate any advice you can provide!

Hello! I am looking into a new laptop to replace my current one which is getting quite old. I use the laptop for light browsing and streaming games over GeForce Now (I do not intend to install any games to play directly on my laptop).

I have seen two that have caught my eye, and I was hoping to get opinions or advice. I'd prefer to have a laptop that won't need to be replaced to soon. I have uploaded images for some details of the two laptops.

Hello, I am looking to replace my old HP laptop.

I will be using the laptop for general browsing, game streaming, and basic Microsoft word use.

I've been looking at Costco which has a ASUS Vivobook 15 15.6 ". I've attached the hardware information.

I'd appreciate any advice or information about the specs and laptop. Thanks!
