For me, it’s like nails on a chalkboard. I feel somewhat the same when people say “seen” instead of saw. For example, “I seen them last night”. I think these are my two only English language hang ups. Anyone else feel the same? Or do you have any other hang ups on words that people say in the English language that just make you cringe? I’d like to hear what other words are that I’m not picking up on that are either common errors in English that people continue into adulthood or just words that are cultural and based on socioeconomic status like y’all.
