LOD and Pop-In Driving Me Crazy

Im only on forest or whatever confusing name it has now and it's just so ugly with how aggressive the LOD culling is. I just went to the church area for the first time since beta and you can see enemies crouched in buildings that haven't even spawned in yet lol. Killed a couple with my fort for shits and giggles.

Why is there an achievement for 150m kills when the game doesn't render anything past 30m.

And the worst part is that even with such over-aggressive optimisation, it still runs like poo.

I just ordered one because I love this game but I never play it because I can't stand having a bulky headset on for more than an hour (crystal "light").

Has anyone else tried it? Any technical issues? Is the OLED as good for nighttime raids as I'm hoping?

I've seen this mentioned in 2 Reddit comments now but when I Google it I get absolutely nothing. Already have a das sitting in a drawer so would be nice to use that instead of having to buy the BSB audio strap and adapter. Thanks!

Pavlov - dead after UE5 killed modding and always had arcadey csgo recoil anyway

Vail - Not too bad but the aesthetic is slightly off-putting, too many kids and no gunstock calibration

Onward -Too slow and dead

Breachers - good but again very arcadey, put hundreds of hours into this but bored of it now

Contractors - base game is plagued with height calibration abusers, showdown was absolutely amazing at launch but they're added artificial gun weight with the exfil update that absolutely ruined the entire experience. Season 0 battle royale was the best VR experience I ever had.

Forefront - ass

So, anything coming up that might scratch the itch?

I'm walking through the first map and shrubs are popping in constantly, or shadows flicker in and out of existence as I get closer. It's so horribly distracting and immersion breaking.

Also had an issue before where the sun moving was causing shadows update every second or so and it was also really annoying.
