First time showing what I have accomplished so far - The Trials of the Forsaken Knight
I have had a blast learning how to use various AI tools and manual editing to create what will be my first published game. I am looking for any positive/negative feedback, thoughts, and questions on what I have so far to make this is appealing (and fun) as possible. I just launched Steam Page yesterday. The mechanics and core loop are in a great shape so now I am focusing on adding more content (I have 32 fights so far of a planned 98).
Hopefully this is clear from the trailer/steam page, but the gist is that this is a fighting game focused on proper timing of attacks and parries and adapting to the various attack patterns/fighting styles of different enemies - originally inspired by the rather simple NES Punch-Out combat, but gradually became more complex I went.
