Which side wins?
Earth is now a remote planet in the Star Wars universe.
Darth Maul lands on Earth and decides he wants to rule it from the shadows, but to do that he has to eliminate the threat of Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
In secret, he joins forces with Erik Killmonger, who offers to be his ally and guide. In return, Maul promises to help Killmonger become the king of Wakanda.
Killmonger is enhanced and has a vibranium suit.
The Avengers include Iron Man, War Machine, Captain America, Falcon, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Black Panther, Ant-Man and Hulk.
Can this sinister duo succeed?
To give him a fighting chance, Aragorn has a beskar sword and beskar chainmail under his ranger garments.
Every fight takes place in the Geonosian arena from Attack of the Clones.
I've gotten back into wrestling lately, and I'm curious about where people think the best wrestlers like Roman rank on the fictional power scale.
Obviously wrestlers in kayfabe are much tougher than normal men. They can take a ridiculous beating and then fight again at full health the next week.
Movie versions of the characters.
You get one month of ancient military training and then you have to pick a faction to join. You get all of the weapons and armour appropriate to that faction.
Your enemy will be a large band of Uruk-hai and orcs from Middle-earth, led by Lurtz.
Whose leadership do you trust to facilitate your survival?
Sidnote: Movie Achilles is not invincible, and neither was Achilles from the Illiad. Let's dispel that myth.
Let's disregard the scale of their crimes, because obviously Palpatine -- the ruler of a galactic empire -- "wins" that competition, hands down. He's killed and hurt more people than even exist on planet Earth.
On a purely psychological, ideological level, which character is more evil?
T'Challa arrives in Westeros as a mysterious foreign traveller. His goal is to win the Iron Throne -- not for personal gain, but because he's a good man with contemporary knowledge who wishes to unite the violent, warring houses and protect all from the evil Night King.
He doesn't have his vibranium suit, but he does have the Black Panther's strength and a single vibranium spear gifted to him by Okoye.
There is no time limit on the task (he can even be crowned king after the Night King is defeated, assuming everyone survives), but naturally he must accomplish his goal before he dies.
They're wearing their strongest suits from the MCU.
Let's assume Palpatine is willing to be rescued, despite the fact that in the movie he was really trying to turn Anakin to the Dark Side.
Grievous and Dooku are doing their best to thwart the rescue.
Both have their standard-issue weapons and armour.
I just saw a Master Chief vs. Ahsoka thread, and the main argument for the Chief winning was that his guns fire metal bullets that are difficult for a Jedi using a lightsaber to block.
Samara has biotics, which is similar to the Force, and she also has guns. So I thought it'd be an interesting match-up.
