Hi all,

I’ve noticed that our washing machine is making a strange noise when it fills with water and during the spin cycle. It sounds like a banging noise, and I initially thought one of the pipes might be hitting the dryer next to it.

I tried moving both machines slightly, but the noise is still there. I’ve also noticed that the washing machine seems to shift/move slightly in one direction during the cycle. I am more worried about the pipe banging into the dryer, it has not been an issue before

Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this pipe movement or how to fix it? I can call a handyman if it’s not something we can easily sort out.
