Small update on my manga project

Small update on my manga project

For everyone who was interested in my manga, here’s a little update :)

I’m currently working on the rough sketches for my first pages.

Sometimes I don’t have much time to work on it because of school, so my progress can be a bit slow.

If everything goes well, I think I might finish volume 1 by the end of the year, or maybe even earlier with the school holidays.

I’ll probably make a lot more progress during the holidays, and I’m really excited because I’d love to share my manga with more people.

Thank you for your interest and support—it really motivates me ♡

I’m currently working on a psychological/mystery manga and I’m struggling to find a title for it 😭

The story takes place in a world where memories can be exchanged, manipulated, and even erased. People slowly begin losing their memories, which starts causing deaths and threatens humanity itself.

The main character, Riku, was placed into a new family after a traumatic event and had his original memories replaced with fake ones. As the story progresses, he begins uncovering hidden truths about his childhood and the world around him.

I’d love to hear your title ideas 👀

And upvote the titles you think fit the story best!

Hi! I’m 12 and I’m currently working on my own manga.

I drew this scene and I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Please don’t judge too harshly because of my age, I’ve never taken any drawing classes 😅

I also didn’t ink it because I ran out of ink for now, so it’s still in pencil!

Try to guess what the woman is saying in the first panel 👀

I’m still in the early stages of my story, so any advice or feedback would really help!

Hi! I’m a young artist currently working on a manga project, and I’d really like some feedback before I fully start drawing it.

My story takes place in a world where memories can be exchanged like currency. Over the years, this system has become normal, and people slowly stopped questioning it.

There are different areas in this world, including a controlled city called Altera, where people who lose their memories are taken to a “medical zone.”

The story begins with a child and his mother. She suddenly forgets who he is, and guards immediately take her away. This introduces the idea that memory loss is something known and monitored.

The main character, Riku, is introduced later. He lives with a family, but they are not his real family. His original memories were removed after a traumatic event, and replaced with artificial ones to protect him.

At some point, Riku goes to a memory market and meets a mysterious woman. During their interaction, she asks him:

“What if those memories aren’t yours?”

At that moment, he experiences a brief, fragmented flash of something from his real past, but he doesn’t fully understand it.

After this, he begins to feel that something is wrong, even if he can’t explain why.

Later in the story, he asks his “mother” about his birth. She answers, but her hesitation and subtle inconsistencies create a quiet sense of doubt.

The story focuses on:

identity and memory

emotional and psychological tension

a controlled world that feels normal on the surface

and the idea that people can lose themselves without realizing it

I’m still in the planning stage (story, characters, worldbuilding), so I’d really appreciate feedback:

Does the concept feel interesting or too familiar?

Is the progression of events clear?

Any advice for improving the psychological impact?

Thank you for reading!

Hi! I’m a young artist currently working on a manga project, and I’d really love some feedback before I start fully creating it.

The story is set in a world where memories can be exchanged like currency. People go to a mysterious market to trade their memories in order to feel happiness… but in return, they slowly lose who they are.

The main character, Riku, starts noticing strange things after exchanging a memory. A mysterious woman asks him a question that won’t leave his mind:

“Are you sure all your memories belong to you?”

As the story goes on, he begins to doubt his past, his family, and even his own identity.

I’m still in the planning stage (story, characters, worldbuilding), and I’d really appreciate any advice:

Does the concept sound interesting?

What would make you want to read this?

Any tips for a beginner starting a manga?

Thank you so much for reading!
