I love all the hype, i love all the new fans, i love all the energy that is coming from this debut album. I just don't want these boys to be known for just one song!!! These boys have an amazing library of songs, now they getting mainstream alot could get lost. I am afraid of what will come next i just don't want them to be an afterthought GK have saved and helped so many people but they are destined to dance with the stars.Us simple people who have been there, all we can do is watch and let them grow!!! Santa Cruz you people are so welcoming and so informative about everything, I went out the weekend of April 25th to see the band PHONEBOY at the Catalyst. i explored downtown had breakfast at Zacherys had the Mikes Mess (SO GOOD BY THE WAY), then after a Target store fiasco, (My car order was delayed big time, but i couldnt blame the attendant, she apologized and she said they were short staffed.) i went downtown again, went shopping at Super Silver and at Pacific Wave all the attendants were courteous and respectful... I went to the Santa Cruz Art and History museum and the front desk lady was so informative, helpful and friendly.... It was all great I loved the indigenous stories of creation i told my boys back home how it relates to our stories almost 1000 miles away... I had so much fun at the concert as well... I just wanted to post this, I hope i can make a journey out there again soon!! THANK YOU SANTA CRUZ
So i went on a rant last night about my merch issues but i just wanted anyone to know to double check what you buy. TONIGHT i want to tell anyone or any families, kids adults who have not been to a concert or let alone a metal concert here is a big statement: INOHA AND GOOD KID WILL HAVE MOSH PITS AND CROWD SURFING!!!! You will NEED to assist the person surfing by holding them up, you will be pushed kicked and shoved by all the energy of all the people!!! What is NOT cool is expecting other people to take care of those surfers!!! They fall to the floor and people can get hurt!!!! It is your job to assist if you are tall or short or weak or strong!! We are all there to have a good time and some people's version of a good time is to mosh jump and crowd surf. I personally love it all i love the pushing and shoving I love helping the surfers get to the barricade SAFELY!!! So PLEASE if you want to get front center area just know that it will get crazy!!!! Security in Phoenix was top notch and were on it Anaheim was less than prepared.
I got screwed by one of the merch attendants at the Anaheim show i told her the ones i exactly wanted from both INOHA and GK shirts hoodies stickers various sizes I trusted her judgement she even "Corrected" my judgment on the INOHA shirt saying it wasnt gray it was purple and i told her i still wanted it.... I didnt check my bag (my fault) i got home today with 3 hoodies no shirts for 320 dollars not the sizes i asked for either..... Oh well all sales are final.... I know i just wanted to get outta there too so I'll admit that was my fault as well.... Great show by the way!!!
