🏥 Incoming Medical Resident at HCA Osceola - Need housing advice! (FB Marketplace is full of scams 😭)

I’m desperately looking for some local advice. My boyfriend and I are relocating to Kissimmee soon as he is an incoming PGY-1 Resident Physician at HCA Florida Osceola Hospital.
I’ve been trying to find a private rental for us on Facebook Marketplace, but it has been an absolute nightmare. It's infested with scammers using the classic "I'm out of town, just drive by and look at the exterior, but pay the refundable application fee via Jotform first" script. Since I'm managing this search remotely, it's getting super frustrating.
My questions for the locals:
Where else should I be looking besides FB Marketplace and Zillow? Are there any specific local property management websites or platforms you trust?
Does anyone know of any private landlords near the Downtown Kissimmee who prefer renting to medical professionals?
