LSGS PTSD C&P
Had a C&P this morning in St. Louis. Like most of us here I was nervous going into since it's such a crapshoot. She opened by telling me that she used to do MH debriefing for Seals coming back from deployment and did their MH fitness assessments to be re-deployed before she had to move back home to STL.
She was very easy to talk to and work with. Said she would ask the minimal amount of intrusive questions to just get what she needed. Told me to pass on anything I didn't feel like answering. Went about 45 minutes over the time slot. At the end she told me that she was going to write a DBQ that the VA could not refute and she would be submitting it within the hour as she didn't have another appt until noon. She was typing almost the whole time but also making eye contact with me and asking follow-on questions. It was a huge relief to have such a positive experience after seeing so many bad outcomes here.
