So I recently got accepted to NYU as a transfer into the Dramatic Writing BFA program, and while I’m super excited about it, I’m so nervous about what to do next. Right now I attend Emerson College for Media Production and take classes that are screenwriting and producing classes, plus have two minors, and would graduate early. That being said, the Dramatic Writing program has such prestige, and I know with the work I would put into it I could get myself into an even better place than where I am now. However, it’s 100k a year…and I would be paying myself. Is it worth it for me to take out the loans and go or would it just be better to stay where I am?
