I'm having a heck of a time trying to cancel my membership. I'm absolutely getting billed and have access to all the subscriber content, but according to Substack, Apple Podcasts, Supercast, and YouTube, I am not subscribed. I cannot locate my account to cancel it but I keep getting billed...
It's getting into the slow season at my work and I've had a hard time focusing on anything to pass the time lately. I'm not the best with communication, but looking for someone, or someones to exchange a couple of messages a day with about random things. Just friendship.
My main interests are:
I'm a big SciFi person. I've seen every piece of Star Trek Media, happy to talk about anything Trek. Long time Friend of DeSoto, currently on my 3rd run of Voyager Across the Unknown.
I love the Expanse series (both books and TV), as well as the Murderbot books (just finished Platform Decay this weekend). I've also started the new James S. Corey book (in audio form on my commute), hoping it'll overpower my urge to go through The Expanse a third time.
I also like to read comic books, largely Marvel, with Daredevil being my favorite (re-reading Brubaker right now, didn't care for Ahmed).
I play video games when I have the time and am borderline obsessed with the Fallout Franchise.
Other interests:
I play the flute in a community orchestra, I frequent political protests, am very liberal, am an atheist (don't really care what you believe as long as you don't push it), and I have kind of an intense workout schedule (I run 3+ miles a day, lift 5x a week and do an hour of a VR exercise program before work every day). I do a lot of 5k and 10k races (about one a month) as well.
Things I won't watch/have no interest in:
Straight dramas, romance/romantic comedies, traditional sit-coms, second hand embarrassment/cringe-based humor (The Office, Parks and Rec), reality TV, influencer media and short form videos. Also, I'm a cat person, kind of scared of dogs.
