Building on a comment from yesterday and added an Akubra taking some inspo from my favourite style ‘The Riverina’.

Context: The number is what order I saw it on my life list (life list meaning every bird I have seen, so the Tawny Froggy was the 67th bird I saw since starting birding).

Today I begin my journey of drawing my life list wearing cowboy hats. I am pretty new to art and birding sparks a whole wave of inspiration in me. Hopefully, I will be able to grow over the next however long I do this for and find my style. I know it's not very good, so any tips, tricks or advice would be greatly appreciated.

For context the number on the drawing is where it sits on my life list.
