Quick story.. my dad bought this bike new in 1997, he passed away in 2008. Since then it’s seen every hand in my family (including mine in 2016-2018). Today my brother in law gifted it back to me. This bike is extremely sentimental to me.
Here’s my question. Where do I start? I want to get it clean and running well by June (about 4 weeks). It starts up but dies when I move in first gear. Got a couple icky spots on the chrome and hasn’t been consistently ran since 2020ish.
Here are some pics. Open to ALL advice and help. Budget is small but I’ll do whatever it takes.
