I'm working on a project where I need to replicate the sound of a person humming a melody, but I can't use my own voice or hire a vocalist. Has anyone found creative ways to pull this off?

Some things I'm curious about:

• Are there any software tools or plugins that can convincingly generate a humming sound?
• Could a synthesizer or specific instrument patch mimic that warm, resonant quality of humming?
• Has anyone had luck with AI voice/vocal tools for something like this?
• What about layering instrument sounds (like a theremin, muted strings, or a flute) to approximate it?

The goal is for it to sound as natural and human as possible — not robotic or obviously synthetic. Bonus points if it's achievable on a budget!

Any tips, tools, or techniques you've tried would be hugely appreciated. Thanks in advance!
