Both of my kids (currently 1st grade and pre-k 3, moving to 2nd and pk4) are going to Winn Elementary but it is closing when this year ends.
Both of our kids can transfer to Reilly because of the closure, but we threw their names into the hat for a few other schools.
My 1st grader got accepted to both Doss and Bryker Woods, the pk4 choices aren't being finalized for a few more weeks so not sure where he stands. Bryker Woods mentioned not having a lot of spots for pk4 for next year so that might be a bust and still looking for info from Doss on pk4 availability (we would probably put him in our neighborhood school if he doesn't get into a school with his sister).
When we mentioned Bryker to other Winn parents, we got a few Ohhhhh! faces but my wife says that Doss is a close contender. Any thoughts would be appreciated from y'all.
