*To be really clear on what this is NOT, I am not looking for songs about Pinocchio wanting to be a real boy.*

I am more looking for songs about a creation coming to terms that it was made and abandoned and thinking on what that means for it. The feeling of otherness it is important.

Think a broken robot gaining sentience and figuring out what that means or for a darker version the novel version of the monster from Frankenstein.

It does not need to be happy or sad or any particular genre so long as it has the right vibe of "I was made for a purpose, I was discared and now what?"

Ever since stromblood, one of the main scions have picked up one of the new jobs introduced in the expac.

- Alisaie gained Red Mage officially in Stormblood (though it was teased earlier in the 3.x patches)

- Thancred gained gunbreaker in Shadowbringers, this was likely to also aide the trust system as we were light on tanks.

- Alphinaud gained sage in Endwalker.

- Krile gained pictomancer in Dawntrail.

Following this trend we can assume that one of the core group of scions will gain a new job.

Baring any switch ups the core party of scionsnat the moment seem to be the twins, Estinien, G'raha, Tataru, Thancred, Urianger, And Y'shtola.

Knowing all that and kowing that we will be getting a tank and a ranged dps I feel we can rule out all but Thancred or Estinien as the other all feel very tied to magic as a identity or in Tataru's right away as she is very confirmed to be a noncombat member.

Of the two I feel that Estinien is the less likely of the two. His job identity is basicly 80% of who he is as a character and we already saw him in the trailer as a dragoon. Though he could make a dramatic job change mid fight to become a tank maybe? This would probably coincide with he getring a bigger role in the story and character development. It's possible but have a better feeling about option 2.

I feel Thancred gaining the ranged role is the most likely candidate as he currently only can fill 1 role in a trust, it could fit his character identity as a spy and we have not seen him in the trailer. My guess is that he will run in and save the main character, Alphinaud, and Estinien as some sort of ranged sniper in the part of the trailer where they are surrounded by the floating crystal drones. He could also pick up another tank job just cuz.

If I had to pick another scion to get a new job I guess it would be Alisaie but magic just feels so tied to her as a character.

Of course we could always have one of the secondary or former scions show up as one of the new jobs. Though I feel Hoary Boulder or Lyse getting moved to the main party... unlikely.

TLDR: my bet is that Thancred will gain the ranged DPS job with my back up being that Estinien becomes the tank.

Location: Colorado USA

My adult brother (age 27), who lives with my mom (age 60), is in a mental health downwards spiral and is getting worse. He is also getting violent.

To keep it brief, he is breaking with reality, seeing demons everywhere and declaring himself a prophet of God, etc. When my mom doesn't listen to his lectures and sermons that can last hours he gets enraged and shoves her down into chairs, pins her to the wall with a table when she tries to get away and restrains her from her phone to keep her from calling the police.

My mom and I are trying to get him in a place where he won't hurt her, and hopefully, anyone else. The police have been there many times now, each time letting him off with a warning. My brother is smart and is able to charm his way out of a lot of shit. the last time she tried to get him on a psych hold, they sent him back in a day. In the most recent police visit, she was told that they can't do anything without a protective order.

So she tried to get a protective order. She was told he was too mentally ill for her to go that path, and she has to try and get him in a guardianship.

We are just being yanked around, and nothing works. We tried to put in cameras, and he just disables them, and we can't get proof he did it. I have made police reports, too. No one cares.

I don't know what to do. I want to help my brother, but at this point, I would prefer him in jail than hurting my mom anymore.

I'm scared he is going to kill her. Please give me any advice you can give.
