Classical classification doesn't apply to modern singing

I need to write this for the newbies. Classical classification applies for classical singing.

Don't think of things like "bass, tenor, baritone". In modern singing we're using other configurations to create the voice. There's several ways, head voice, "mixed" voice, chest voice, adding twang, compression, distorsion (over a head voice it can thicken it and make it feels like a chest one).

So don't think of it. Of course we all have our limits BUT we can overpass these until we reach our "natural" limit.

Also range is just range. There's plenty of other things than range in singing.

Maybe it could be interesting to get views on this topic from both classical/modern singers (someone who can do both)
