Hello all,

I am fairly new to Scrum (still studying). I am currently on the concept of technical debt about how it can used positively and encouraged to take on technical debt. However, I feel like as a gamer, we see early release games all the time, especially on steam. Now, I have no specific game in mind as if you go to that section of steam for early release you'll find mixed review games, etc. Does Techincal Debt backfire here in the gaming industry? Does the release now - patch later mentality backfire? I'm sure technical Debt is useful anywhere, i just feel like gaming is such a volatile industry to keep ahead at.

Thank you for your time and I apologize if this post makes no sense or if it comes off as misinformed, just thought it was interesting.
