So recently ive just got back into work as a general sole trader builder after some extended time off. However after starting a recent 40k job ive come up against a huge issue... recieving payment. The customer has tried sending the first stage payment of 10k to my account, but the bank stopped it. He phoned the bank, but they still declined it due to suspected fraud. We even went into the bank on the following Saturday morning with an invoice and photograph ID and it still didnt work. In the end the customer had to do a mix of cash and paypal and even then were struggling as paypay keep stopping my withdrawals! Has anyone else experienced this or knows a way to avoid this?
