I received an offer for XX kr and they said there is 13% additional for vacation pay. It is livsmedelavtalet union contract, which i dont understand anything of (American, so wtf are unions?? LoL only being half facetious)
Is this common wording? Does it mean that I earn XX+13% each month or that they pay me XX each month and when i take vacation i get the extra 13%? I'm just curious because another informal offer gave me an amount YY but mentioned nothing about extra vacation pay. It may be one of those things swedish persons just know?
The manager is very nice and wants to discuss it further but I'm hoping I can get some experience and facts before we talk about the offer. He did clarify that it was on top of the monthly pay.
