Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some insight into three Radiologic Technology programs on Long Island. I’ve been accepted at **Nassau CC (A.A.S.)**, **Mercy Hospital/Catholic Health (Certificate)**and potentially **Peconic Bay/Northwell (Certificate)**,

**My Background:**

I've already got my A&P, Math, and English done at NCC, so I’m just looking at the core tech years. I’ve been in healthcare for 5 years, so I know the hospital vibe, but I really just want to pick the program where the instructors actually want you to succeed and won’t let you fail the hard stuff like Physics.

> If you went to any of these, what was your experience with the teachers? Were they helpful if you struggled, or were you just a number?

> Also, did being in the Northwell or Catholic Health programs actually make it easier to get a job at those hospitals afterward?

* **Crucially:** I’ve already completed A&P I & II, English, and Math at NCC.

My biggest concern isn't the commute or the cost—it's not failing. I want to know which program has the best support system for students.

**A few specific questions:**

  1. For **Peconic Bay** grads: How was the transition to the Quarter system? Did the "hybrid" classes make it harder to stay on track?

Which one would you choose if your main goal was a 100% guarantee of passing the boards and finishing the program? Thanks!
