SEBO E3 vs. SEBO Felix + Stick Vac combo?
Hello vacuum experts! I love this thread and find it so comically charming. Who knew there were so many passionate vacuum-ers in the world! I FEEL SO SEEN!
Here's the brief: 2000 SF house. Lower level wall to wall carpet. Upper level hardwoods + wool area rugs. No pets. One toddler.
My #1 wish: 7 or so years ago when I had an early model of the Dyson stick vac, it gave me SO MUCH JOY to vacuum baseboards and cupboards and cobwebs etc. Strong suction, easy to get out of the closet and quickly use. Made vacuuming feel fun vs. a burden. So BASEBOARD DETAILING WITH STRONG SUCTION and EASE OF TAKING OUT are my primary wishes.
My #2 wish: We have wool area rugs that produce a lot of fuzz that transfers to hardwoods. Would like something that could HELP WITH WOOL RUG FUZZ TRANSFER TO HARDWOOD.
Husband's #1 wish: He says I shed like a golden retriever (LOL) and my hair is constantly getting tangled in the brush head of the vaccum. So EASE OF CLEANING BRUSH HEAD this is his number once concern.
Husband's #2 wish: He hates how our current stick vac constantly clogs and uses suction, but you can't easily identify where the clog is is that needs to be cleared. EASY TO IDENTIFY LOCATION OF CLOGS.
Went to a dealer yesterday and they recco-d the SEBO E3, the SEBO Felix (but warned of the shorter hose might bug me, said there's a longer hose attachment you can order for it), and the Riccar R27 P Upright (but mentioned that the brush head doesn't pop out to clean like the SEBOs do so that might be a deal breaker for husband).
Everyone here seems to love the E3 so if you want to validate that it would bring me enough joy in all of the above areas that it would offset the burden of hauling it out of the closet, amazing. Otherwise I'm thinking maybe the SEBO Felix + a Dyson Stick Vac would be the best combo for us. Use the SEBO for the floors and use the stick vac for the detail work I love to do??
