Hi everyone, my name’s Meg and I work for IDLance. If you can’t tell by my bizarre auto-assigned display name, I’m new to Reddit. I’m an elder millennial, guys. I’m trying here.
I want to participate in this community and share ideas, but feel like I should mention where I work and what we do so people have context for me participating.
I noticed that we’ve been mentioned on here a couple of times, so I figured I’d pop in and say hello! We’re a big community of freelance instructional designers and also an agency kinda-sorta. I like to think of us as a secular Noah’s Ark…ya know…a safe place to ride out the storm…without all the, like, fleas and stuff? I don’t know where I was going with this.
The point is, if you’re looking for tips, pals, gigs, subcontracting, etc…we do that stuff.
Anyway, this seems like a really great space to swap ideas, vent, troubleshoot, etc., which I think is exactly what we all need right now in these crazy times.
It’s nice to meet you all!
