The other day a friend told me she keeps seeing the same guy on her Caltrain — same time, same car — but she’s never said hi (she wants to learn more about him but doesn't know how to start the convo)
It made me realize… there are probably multiple people on your train you might get along with. A potential friend to vent to after work, someone solving the similar technical problems as you, or even a Before Sunrise-type connection.
But you just… never talk.
What if there was a fully opt-in game where people on the same train can get connected by answering a few prompts of themselves — and if there's a match, they can choose to chat via messages without revealing their numbers and personal info (unless they want to).
No approaching strangers. No one gets bothered. Just the option to meet someone who was already there the whole time. What do you think?
