I started taking Yasmin for the first time on day 19 of my last cycle. My period was due on April 20th. I’d been getting AWFUL cramps and on the 22nd I started spotting. 2 days after that I was still spotting, but passing very painful clots (no heavy bleeding like my usual period). I’ve been spotting for 7 days now which is longer than my normal period and every time I think it’s going to stop, it comes back. I haven’t ran packs together as this is my first pack. I also know it’s normal within the first 3 months, but I wasn’t expecting such awful pain and clots, when the reason im on the pill is to stop the pain and clots!
Has anybody any advice? How long does this usually last? I’m honestly thinking of stopping all together as I really don’t want to be like this for the next 3 months lol. Is it really worth carrying on and adjusting?
