Hi everyone,

I’m planning to attend PS Arena / Low Scty at Nürburgring on 09.05.2026, but I don’t have a car.

I checked the public transport options, and although there is a bus to Nürburgring, it doesn’t seem very reliable, especially for getting back after the event. That’s why I’m asking here.

I can get to Köln, Bonn, or Meckenheim by train, but I’m looking for a ride/carpool to Nürburgring and back to one of those stations after the event.

I’d be happy to contribute for fuel. Even if it is only one way, it would help a lot.

I’m planning to go to the Nürburgring on May 9th for a car meet, but I’ll be relying entirely on public transport (coming from Berlin area).

I’ve seen routes involving trains + Bus 860 to get to the track, but I’m a bit worried about reliability — especially getting back later in the day. I really don’t want to end up stranded out there with no car 😅

1. How reliable is Bus 860 (especially weekends/events)?
2. Are delays/cancellations common?
3. Is it realistic to rely on it for the return trip in the evening?
4. Any backup options I should know about?

Would really appreciate advice from anyone who’s done this before 🙏
