UK fibro people, anyone tried medical cannabis? 4 months in, here's where I'm at
Diagnosed 2021 after 2 years of being told it was "just stress." Sound familiar?
Tried duloxetine (weight gain), pregabalin (brain fog so bad I couldn't drive), amitriptyline
(knocked me out, didn't touch the pain), CBD oil (nothing at the dose I could afford).
Breaking point was January. Flare so bad I couldn't get out of bed for 3 days. Partner found a UK clinic that actually prescribes for fibro. Video call, 25 mins, doctor who'd actually heard of
fibromyalgia (revolutionary I know ).
4 months in:
• Flares: 2-3/month down to maybe 1
• Sleep: actually staying asleep
• Pain baseline: maybe 30% lower
• Costs about £150/month
