Hi all. I need some help to get an idea on how can i build a sunroom on top of an existing terrace. Weight is roughly 800kg maybe(needs to hold with snow aprox. 4000kg Gemini assumes this :) ). The entire house/area is on rock (Sweden). My strongest idea is to build a cement brick wall (filled with cement) along the slope, with a small door and vetilation holes. it will be made under the existing wood structure, and the sunroom will be placed on top. I thought on building it on wood beams 95mmx95mm but it does not seem sturdy enough with the winds that we get here in Sweden. all ideas are welcome (please refrain from comments like "go talk to a company" I just need info on how can one build a sturdy foundation for sunroom, ) Real info NO AI Thanks.
