Career Advancement tips

I would like to gather some advice from veterans and those who have been in the structural engineering industry for a long time.

For context, I’m a 25-year-old Structural Engineer currently working full-time in a Design and Build steel company. I also work part-time as a university instructor and I’m currently finishing my MSCE major in Structural Engineering (waiting for comprehensive exams). I’m also a licensed Civil Engineer and Master Plumber with around 2 years of industry experience (Graduated 2024).

I’ve designed 100+ structures (work projects + sideline) from low-mid rise buildings, industrial buildings, rc and steel liquid containing tanks, large-scale warehouses, retrofitting, and many more (with sign and seal ofc).
