“Epitome of Perfection”.
I thought to myself,
admiring your shimmering, beady eyes.
The cute little chuckles at everything I say.
Sit with me during sunset,
and I’ll sing to you how the sun worships your presence.
I’ll write to you how the pinkish vermilion sky
has your name written all over it.
Get me a stick, and I’ll draw on the sand
your gorgeous oval face with that enchanting smile of yours.
I’ll make sure to use perfectly rounded black pebbles
as your eyes, that shine when touched by rays of sunlight.
As the night falls,
just as we did in love,
let us gaze at the constellations of stars.
and I shall be serious here, darling.
Cuz I must admit that you’re gorgeous,
as gorgeous as Sirius.
The way you shine, my lady,
with every step you take,
Sirius flickers and flaunts
its luminous blue-white glow.
It is as though the universe worships you,
calls you “Her Majesty.”
And rightly so, my Queen,
the sun only rises to serve you,
the stars only die
because they aren’t as bright as you.
Or at least,
this is the phenomenon in my tiny little world.
So if you ever leave my side,
even for a second,
my world ends.
Cuz nothing lives long without its sun, does it?
