When I was approaching 50 I decided it was time to start making different choices about how I lived. I reduced alcohol, I became more consistent with exercise, I changed how I approached nutrition. As I pushed towards 55 I started even more routines that were designed to improve and potentially extend my life. A lot of what this series with Chris Helmsworth discusses I have adopted years ago and it has made me both feel and look better than I have in decades. But something really hit me I’m most likely 2/3 done with my life which really made me think am I living how I really want to live, am I happy. Is this how I want to spend the later years. It was a reminder to focus on myself and not to compromise with the time that is left.
